Booking conditions

Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation of payment.

In order to confirm the booking, the guest must make the corresponding payment.

Booking rates are those advertised at any given time on each accommodation's website.
The reservation will be subject to cancellation if payment cannot be made, so it is important that guests ensure that their credit card is valid and has sufficient funds.

If authorisation is not possible, you will be notified by email and will have 12 hours to try another payment method.
All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.

Payment methods

Bookings can be paid for by bank transfer, Mbway or credit card, Visa or MasterCard.

Pre-check-in

On completion of the booking, the booking holder will receive an email from Date Other Homes®, with confirmation and important explanations about the accommodation.

Guests will be asked to provide some information that is of the utmost importance for preparing the stay, such as the time of arrival, the total number of people staying - so that we can provide the right amount of bed linen and bath towels.
Guests must indicate the exact number of people. The number of guests specified in the booking cannot exceed the number of guests present in the accommodation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, Date Other Homes will®, reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or reimbursement of the amounts paid

Cancellation conditions

After the booking has been confirmed, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation:

  1. a) The guest will pay 50% of the total amount of the reservation in the event of cancellation up to 30 days before the reservation date. check-in.
  2. b) The guest will pay 100% of the total amount of the reservation in the event of cancellation less than 30 days before the date of the reservation. check-in.

Conditions of stay

The booking holder must be at least 18 years old and must remain in the booked accommodation for the entire stay. Guests under the age of 18 can only be accommodated if accompanied by an adult who is the reservation holder.

The booking holder must provide a valid address, telephone number and email address.

Date Other Homes® é PETFRIENDLY and your pet (medium/small in size) are welcome in Date Other Homes' accommodation.®.

A Date Other Homes® reserves the right to require guests to pay a deposit of €20 for their pet's stay in the accommodation, which will be refunded after checking the accommodation and verifying that there is no damage caused by pets.

A Date Other Homes®, reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid if any animal is found inside.

Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.

Guests must notify Date Other Homes® of any damage to the accommodation, contents, equipment or accessories that occurs during the stay, even if the guest considers the damage to be regular wear and tear and not their fault. If the guest does not notify Date Other Homes® may be held liable for such damage.

Additional services

All additional services are available on request and are subject to confirmation of availability.

A Date Other Homes® is not responsible for any services provided by external suppliers.

Check-in and Check-out

Unless otherwise agreed, occupancy of the accommodation on the check-in date will be between 3pm and 11pm.

In the event of late check-in - after 11pm - a flat fee of €30 may be charged, which must be paid at the time of check-in.

Check-out takes place between 12:00 and 13:00 and all guests must leave the accommodation by the scheduled time. A Date Other Homes®, At the time of check-in, the guest will be given an access code to the Lockey at the entrance to each room where the room keys are kept. At the time of check-out, the guest must leave the room keys in the same Lockey. Guests should NOT leave their keys in the door lock.

If the guest refuses to leave, Date Other Homes®, reserves the right to enter the accommodation, remove your belongings, change the locks and also to take any other action that may be necessary. (The guest will be responsible for the costs of any such action).

Any changes to the dates and times of departure and arrival must be confirmed by Date Other Homes.®. In the event of delays, without prior notice and without confirmation from Date Other Homes®, will be charged the amount corresponding to the rate for one night.

At check-in Date Other Homes®, The flat provides only ONE set of keys, and guests should take care not to lose it or leave it inside the flat. Guests must return all keys at check-out.

Additional charges may apply for lost keys or lock-outs. If it is necessary to hire a locksmith service, the guest will be responsible for the full amount charged by the service provider.

A Date Other Homes®, is not responsible for any items left inside the flat after the guest has left. Any belongings found in the flat can be returned on request. The guest is fully responsible for all expenses related to the process of returning their belongings.

Cleanliness, sheets and towels

The accommodation will be cleaned before guests arrive. Date Other Homes' basic service® includes a set of towels, bed linen and some toiletries for each booking.

Additional cleaning services and products, including changing sheets and towels, are available for an additional fee.

Guests should keep their accommodation as organised and clean as possible, delivering it in the best possible condition at check-out.

Guests should not leave rubbish in the accommodation by the door and should use the rubbish bins inside the accommodation or in the street for this purpose.

Equipment, furniture and accommodation items

A Date Other Homes® provides each accommodation with a house book explaining how all electronic devices and electrical appliances work If an appliance does not work, or if guests are unsure about how to use any of the equipment in the accommodation, they should contact the host responsible at Date Other Homes.®.

Date Other Homes® , He is always available 24 hours a day for any questions, via email and WhatsApp.

 

Changes to the hosting or its content are not permitted.

All items found in the accommodation belong to the owner and must not be moved or removed from the property during your stay.

Maintenance and special requests

Any problems within the accommodation (e.g. electrical problems, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) must be reported immediately to Date Other Homes.® by e-mail or telephone.

Depending on the problem, resolution can take up to 72 hours, or longer if you rely on third-party services.

Whilst respecting guests' privacy, FAROL D'ELITE UNIPESSOAL, LDA. reserves the right to access the accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, repairs and emergencies.

Extra beds and baby cots can be requested in advance, but are limited to availability at the time.

Noise, Illegal activity, Safety

According to the law, the night-time rest period is between 11pm and 8am, so guests should keep quiet.

Guests should not disturb their neighbours by opening or closing the door of the accommodation or the door of the building in which it is located (where applicable).

Bookings are not accepted for illegal or immoral activities.

The guest whose name is on the booking confirmation email will be responsible for the behaviour of the entire group and agrees to avoid any and all illegal activities.

Guests are not allowed to invade the owner's privacy or publish anything that could allow third parties to identify the address of the property or the identity of the owner (even if such information is already in the public domain).

Guests are primarily responsible for their own safety during their stay in Date Other Homes accommodation.®.

Guests should listen to any instructions or explanations provided by Date Other Homes® during check-in.

If a guest becomes aware of anything during their stay that they believe to be a risk to their health and safety, they must inform Date Other Homes immediately.®.

When leaving the accommodation, guests should make sure that they leave the gas appliances switched off, the windows closed, the air conditioning, central heating and lights switched off.

Responsibility

The Date Other Homes service®, is legally limited to its accommodation and its relationship with guests during their stay. Date Other Homes® will not be responsible for any occurrences outside the confines of the accommodation, such as cleaning and maintenance of the building, outside noise, construction, neighbours or any other matter not directly related to the accommodation itself.

The photos and descriptions of the accommodation are produced by Date Other Homes® Minor changes to the hosting can occur in relation to the photos on the site, without jeopardising their general condition or amenities.

A Date Other Homes®, will not compensate guests, refund fees or transfer guests to other accommodation on the basis of the appearance of the accommodation or its surroundings. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure before booking that the area or neighbourhood they choose to stay in is to their liking.

A Date Other Homes®, is not responsible for any damage caused, directly or indirectly, that may occur during guests' stay in the accommodation, such as personal injury, theft, robbery or criminal behaviour, losses due to fire or misconduct, etc. The same applies in relation to any shortcomings in the supply of gas, electricity, water, telephone or internet.

All thefts, robberies or any other criminal behaviour must be reported immediately by guests to Date Other Homes®, and the competent police or judicial authorities.

A Date Other Homes®, Date Homes is not responsible for any potential delays, accidents, losses or changes in timetables or rates that are related to the services of our suppliers. A Date Other Homes®, is not responsible for errors and/or omissions, false statements by third parties, disputes between a guest and a third party, or the content of external links other than the one on which the booking was made.

In the event that guests do not comply with these terms and conditions, or in the event of bad behaviour on the part of guests, Date Other Homes will®, reserves the right to require them to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid.

Legislation and Fortuitous Events

This agreement is between the guests and the company Date Other Homes®, which is duly authorised to arrange the rental of the accommodation. This agreement gives guests authorisation to occupy the accommodation for the period and under the terms agreed.

Guests are not tenants of the accommodation and do not have exclusive possession of it. In the rare event that a booked accommodation becomes unavailable due to damage caused by any circumstance not attributable to Date Other Homes®, such as water or gas leaks, Date Other Homes®, will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused, however, it will take all necessary measures to move the guest to an accommodation with similar characteristics.

If guests do not accept the move, the full amount (excluding costs related to the days the flat was used by the guest, if applicable) will be refunded, but neither the owner nor Date Other Homes will be liable for the refund.®, will be liable to the guests for any additional amount in relation to the cancellation of the reservation. A Date Other Homes®, will not be held responsible for the possible theft of objects left in the accommodation.

Amendments and applicable jurisdiction

A Date Other Homes®, reserves the right to update its terms and conditions at any time as necessary. It is the responsibility of the parties using the Date Other Homes service to®, Please review these terms and conditions in the event of a change before making a booking.

By agreeing to use the Date Other Homes service®, it is understood that the guest accepts any changes and that all parties will comply with these changes. These terms and conditions do not affect the rights of guests.

These terms and conditions are subject to Portuguese law. The Portuguese Courts have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of legal action relating to any booking of accommodation with Date Other Homes.®.
